Omg this book.... It's so well written, but I'm FUMING on behalf of the heroine! I loathe the hero and even worse, it is made clear he supposedly has a consciensce. Readers, HE IS NOT A NICE GUY! I actually let out a bellow of fury at one point that startled my dog. Arrrgh!

I can't stop reading it because I've come too far now and besides, I am fully invested. But yeah... It's turned into a total hate read.

I never really understood what regency heroes meant when they said 'At least allow me to give you the protection of my name' when they asked heroines to marry them in order to avoid scandal.

THIS has brought it home to me finally. The hero in this one deliberately withdraws the protection of his name and the heroine's reputation is completely and utterly sunk.

Whoah - this is actually a lot of fun, though not much smexy times so far! It reminds me of a Conan movie with the hero and heroine on an old-fashioned road trip!
