One of the best historical fiction books I have ever read and it’s written in a very reader-friendly way!!! Loved

It’s really well written and I love the adventure, but at the same time it feels like one of those animes where the season ends in the middle of the story. The books always feel unfinished (I know they are but still).

The way my jaw dropped when I realized that Martha Ballard was literally a real person?! This book was incredibly well thought-out and beautifully written.

really good world-building. It’s a perfect blend of realistic and fictitious fantasy.
I think timeline spacing could be better tho. More than half of the book takes place in the span of like 1 week in the story. I feel like the progression could have been more digestible if the book spanned the course of 1 year idk.
Not done yet tho so maybe there’s a reason why it’s formatted this way.
