At some point, Mark, in a way that’s so intelligent it’s depressing, spells out why he won’t choose a drug-free life. And it made perfect sense. Enough sense that it shook my confidence as someone who wants to work with addictions.
Later, after 20pg of unrelated horror and discomfort inside a sick mind, we see a response to Mark’s logic. And it’s real, it’s compelling… the hope caught me off guard.
