I’m bored. I like the story a lot and a lot of the descriptions are fantastic, but also a lot of it is extremely millennial in a “I’m so feral and chaotic and I’m not a woman because I contain multitudes” as if all women don’t contain multitudes. I’d edit a lot of this out to be honest.

Some really good lines and paragraphs, but not altogether strong enough to justify the grotesque — I want to give it a chance but it is very dire

Another book I’m reading for “internet horror”. It’s pretty heavy from the get go and extremely immersive

Eh. I thought once they got together it would be more interesting, but it's still just a lot of "she is heaven and I am a fallen angel blah blah blah". And how could we go from omg I can't even touch her hand to "oh yeah we're fucking now" and it's like no biggie? They go from kissing one second to being like yeah we eating each other out. If you're that dramatic about her surely you'd spend more time on that? Idk
