I am temporarily DNF'ing this one. I borrowed it in audio, my preferred format, but because the world is completely foreign to me, and the beautiful accents do not lend my neurovariant level to compute, I think I need the physical book to really understand what is happening. I was supremely intrigued, I just couldn't keep the characters straight. It's a me problem that I will rectify later.

I really dislike, detest, loathe even, Raj. I want him to get his just desserts. Everyone else makes these mistakes that seem understandable, or at least logical to an overthinker. But Raj? He’s a user and cruel. He’s almost enough to make me DNF. But I am waiting for Karma.

This was supposed to be a sweet little rom-com Hallmark movie palate cleanser. NOPE! The MMC has me calling him a sweet little spice gumdrop and ordering mint jelly leaves off the Zon, and then a little girl’s story has me bawling. Within moments that spicy gumdrop comes back and I’m gasping with the FMC and mentally screaming “Don’t. Stop!”
