Only like… 2 chapters in and the anxiety inducing flow of the first chapter is already embedded in my bones. So excited to continue!

I’m reading an arc of this and I haven’t realised before requesting that this is part of a series (of sorts), so I basically went in blind.

I don’t particularly like the age gap/dad’s team mate plot line but the characters seem lovable and endearing thus far. This is the second romance arc I’m reading and maybe romance arcs just aren’t for me? It won’t be a 5 star for sure…..

This book is fascinating. The writing is so engaging and concise.

The writing of this is fun but I can’t believe I read almost 100 pages of nothing? I guess it makes sense because we needed the introduction to these characters but it feels so…empty

This is so good, so infuriatingly good. June just doesn’t get it, does she?

Though I will say, this book reminds me a lot of “A Ladder To The Sky” by John Boyne which was a 5 star for me, so things are looking good.

This book is pissing me off. The characters are pissing me off, the storyline is pissing me off. I’m pushing through just not to dnf but I really want to dnf

What better way to start Reacher’s story than on book freaking 25!!!
