Super cute so far! Again, the show did a good job of adapting this, and I also like that seeds are already planted for characters that will be in the future books.

Really enjoying this so far!! I didn't realize that this is the same author that wrote Hello, Universe, I loved that book too

It's not explicitly said (at least not where I'm at in the story), but there's an implication that a side character is demisexual 😱

I'm enjoying this one more than their first book, so so good.

Already loving this! I appreciate that the other books are referenced, but I didn't need to have read them to understand what's going on. There's already tension in the air, so I'm super curious about what happens. Also, Ryan is a giant teddy bear, and now I want to read his book too 😂

Omfg part 4 was crazy!!!

I love how ridiculous and crazy this mystery is 😂

I love Svetlana and I'm so so glad they gave her more screentime in the show. I can't believe it took over 200 pages before she shows up.

Really enjoying this but I'm glad I'm listening to the audiobook because these chapters are looooong 😅

The show did an amazing job with this. Very faithful adaptation, and I love getting the internal monologue that you don't get with the TV show.

If Kerri and Andy don't get together by the end of this, I'm rioting. Their chemistry is too good.

This is a quick read after skipping the sex scenes 😂 I figured out why I'm enjoying this so much: it's Heartstopper for adults lol

I fell in love with the show and decided to read the source material (mostly because I want to read the sequel cuz I'm too impatient to wait till season 2, but my copy from the library is still in transit). Damn, this really starts off with a bang, no pun intended 🤣

Of course Spotify cuts off my monthly listening hours right when there's a cool twist lol

Can I read the last 150 pages before Labor Day weekend....we shall see 👀

HOLY PLOT TWIST

This is getting so crazy and twisted! I feel awful for this poor kid but the angst is also addictive. I'm dying to know what happens.

A List of Cages is one of my favorite books and I just remembered that this author has a second book so I decided to pick it up. It's really good so far!! The author does a good job of making the main character still rootable and likeable, despite how by all accounts, he really isn't.

(The copy I have has more about 60 more pages than the edition goodreads defaulted to) I loved the second part, it tugged at my heartstrings, but one of the characters having Alzheimer's is a little triggering for me 😅

Really good so far and it's a super quick read, but it took a tad too long to get to the time travel part imo

I really like her storytelling, and it makes me so, so sad that she's no longer with us.

Everything has been happy and positive so far...I'm savoring this because I have a dark feeling it's about to go downhill fast 😅

I picked this up because I've read there's ace representation, and the main character is ace!! I love this concept of certain kids seeing different portals, I'm curious about where this goes. There's also good trans rep in this too!

Hearing about her passing is devastating, and then I found out she wrote a memoir that came out a few months ago, so I decided to start the audiobook...because I like pain apparently 😅

I'm speed reading this because this is with a library that's further away from me, and another book I have out is due tomorrow, so I don't want to make more than one trip to return them 😂 I like that it's a quick read but the traveling is starting to get old

I'm really glad I decided to read this on audiobook because I'm not sure I'd continue otherwise 😅 It's not bad, it's actually a beautiful story, and I love the way Travis interacts with people and how they instantly know him when they're about to die. But the chapters are long and this is quite sad, so listening to this like a podcast is the way to go imo.

I was afraid this story was going to be slow when they started traveling, but I'm pleased to see that it's kept my attention. I really like this author's writing style.
