I think my story does have an allegory. I believe that the story is trying to state don't be or do something you don't want to become or others to become. I think this because in the story Seth is a drugie but was starting to change for his sweet oure girlfriend. Now the tables have turned and Serh is starting to be the good pure one and his used to be sweet girl friend has now become hooked.

So far what has happened is that Seth mediocre child. He has to grow up with alcohol and drugs all around him. His brothers a dealer and his moms a alcohol addict. Every day Seth always has to be responsible for himself. No on looks out for him besides himslef. He's life is sad,dull, and boring. But one day Seth sees a beautiful girl. She changes him. She makes him not want to drugs, she makes him want to be better.

When miles was forced to go to the party by his friends, he was immediately ridiculed by a girl rudley saying "[he's] not even wearing a costume" (3) .

The inciting incident is when Gen is about to have her baby. She has been wanting the baby to come but has been very nervous about it. Her having the baby draws all the friends In and connects them as a group. Her having the baby makes everything seem real to her because at the bigining she regretted having the baby and now she is ecstatic.

The setting of this story is in a seasonal rural community.The setting dosent reall affect the story.The only reason why the setting affects the community is because when Ginny discovered she was pregnant she was so depressed and had no motivation to do anything because it was cold and snowy outside.It also affects the story because of the job opportunities. There isn't much for a 30 something year old to find a job.

Sally is a very curious little girl.She looks up to her big brother,who is always off spending no time with her.Douglas her brother is 13 and dosent always make the best choices.Douglas got in an accident and dislocated his shoulder from jumping over a river he shouldn't have been near. Douglas soon picks up a disease and is spending a long time recovering.Sally is not able to visit her brother.Will Douglass recover?
