I’m still reading this but—when will get to the good part?
The “bad guy” seems to be reduced to no more than fog , and an occasional four legged creature. This appears to be more of a story about a naive young woman’s love interest. I’ll hang in here a bit longer but so far, this is does not have the Juliette Marillier or Garth Nix depth and complexity. If I dare to compare.
