Harrowing to go see Red’s kid being established as just a normal, lively kid, and then slowly become a shell of herself over the years

Valentine Pillman is the best character and I’d buy him a cognac too

I don't have extensive knowledge of Millar's writing style up until this point. The politics in this are completely backwards and surface level but it's an entertaining read. I've yet to figure out where my mind's at with this book.
