was going to abandon like 25 pages in because i couldn't get into the writing style and was finding it rather too dull but then i found out there will be lesbianism. we continue 🫡

surprisingly hard going because it's just so relentless. woman hating only took me two days but i've been reading this all week and i've only just finished chapter three

I started this months ago and didn’t get very far in before life got in the way, but sat down today and read up to chapter 14. I am emotionally broken!! Don’t look at me!!

Not only am I reading this in the original but I’m reading it without any problems! - I thought it would be much harder and it’s been ages since I actually read anything in Russian; but having such a gap in reading russian-language stuff shows how much I’ve come on in that time. I can speak Russian after all!!
