Nonfiction books like this are hit or miss for me, so the fact I'm still interested 40 pages in is a good sign. I'm just hoping it scratches the itch for cult info like the book about Jim Jones did (I swear I'm not trying to start a cult I just think they're interesting).

PS if anyone has any recs for books about cults/cult leaders lmk

If this wasn't a critical role product I probably would've stopped reading it by now, but it's keeping my attention for now and I like knowing his backstory, so I march on.

This book keeps giving such amazing quotes... I'm having a great time

"CASPIAN COMPTON'S GHOST IS REAL AND HE TRIED TO SELL ME MARIJUANA!" -an actual quote from this book. Needless to say I am thoroughly enjoying myself.

Pretty good so far and I like the direction it's going. Reads like fanfiction which is fun. My only problem is there's an absurd amount of spelling errors and it's starting to bug me....
