Still don't know exactly where I am in the story but I know where I am. In pain. I need a break before I read on. The letters are too blurred right now. Holy fuck

I'm still guestimating the percentages but wow, this may well be one of, if not the, hottest scene I have ever read. AJ Rose never ceases to amaze me.

No hope of finishing Consent today. Part of that is this bloody cold and an other part is the fact I'm refusing to rush it. I want to savour every word, experience every moment and not miss a single full stop. And, if I'm honest I'm sort of glad I couldn't finish it in one day. This way I have at least two days of guaranteed reading bliss (be it with my heart in my mouth).

The book doesn't give me either location or percentages but I'm about to start chapter 7 and just have to say: Oh my effing God. This is hard.

"(...)the worry like paper cuts slicing away at our composure." What a wonderfully apt description.

There's no easing into this story. I'm thrown right into the middle of what will, without a doubt, turn out to be a nightmare.

Oh man. This book, like it's prequels ripped me apart and build me back up again. The story and characters took hold of my emotions and made sure I felt every single one available to me.

"Something old and broken is less broken."

Oh my God. All the feels.

Now reaching the stage where part of me is desperate to get to the end and an other part of me wants to either stop or slow down so it doesn't. Wonderful torture.

Edmond Manning is brilliant. He's once again taking my breath away and making me think. So torn between rushing along to get to the end and taking it slowly while savouring every single word and thought.
