It's a bit sparky for my taste. Reading it for a book club. Chapter 11 was written by someone different and could have been omitted.

I wish this was better written.

I'm loving this book. I listen to it while I walk or drive and then read a bit. It's actually quite funny, considering the situation. And also poignant, how the man character slowly loses her mind due to the pressures of her life and the milkman. I wonder how it will turn out in the end. You should pick it back up, Sharon.

I'm determined to finish this by year's end.

I had to take a peek at the printed copy to make sense of this book. Now that I have seen the structure, I can continue listening. Some books don't translate to audio very well. This may be one.

I'm listening to this while I sew and then reading a bit because that is faster and not as painful. I reached the "twist" which was hardly a twist since I knew it was coming. I'm only continuing to see if these despicable people get their comeuppance.

The hallmark of a good writer is you truly hate the despicable characters. No wishy-washy here.

There is not a single likeable character in this book. Hoping for an epiphany.

Keeping everything a secret also leaves the heroine in agony.
