One of the many reasons why Will Holcomb is my most favorite author is because one character always sees things differently, but then people end up learning from the character and it is like me being the underdog.

I think that the main character is a bit of a coward. He gets so angry at the spiritual teacher because he's afraid to let go of the fact that he has a hard time understanding the boundary of where his pride begins and ends.

Inside my head I am yelling at the main character. Her boyfriend was the very first happy thing that happened to her in life because her mother is always inebriated, her father is distant, and the kids bully her at school. She was beaten nearly to death by these awful kids and the boyfriend came and got her. And yet, she totally did the unthinkable and now she lost him!

I find it kind of funny, the image of the main character coming home to a dead mother, and she’s shaking the hell out of her mother in the head is flopping from side to side. Are you that insane? LOL!
