I love Elizabeth Stephens and will read anything she creates, but this is super cringe so far and difficult to buy into. Her high fantasy and sci-fi is much stronger. None of the characters feel believable. A CEO of a PR company who gets too nervous to speak in public and is a fatal klutz? How did she convince anyone to give her the seed money in the first place? I can’t see why Roland is attracted to her.

Ummm dry humping while receiving a tattoo seems like a recipe for big mistakes. And maybe cover/protect that new tattoo before getting frisky 🤔

This is PAINFUL for me to get through but I’m pushing on. Honestly, do these authors know how to use control + F ever?! They say the word “mate” probably 200x. Buy a thesaurus! These books are like literary fast fashion. The audio book actress sounds like an old lady rather than a 23 year old. Doesn’t help that the FMCs in this series talk like the Golden Girls. She sounds like Betty White’s doppelgänger.
