ironic how i told myself i wanted to read a fun, light, cutesy rom-com before i went to bed and i started this instead. the philosopher in me always wins….. but at what cost *sigh*

nevermind, alana is my goat. for real. I approached her section with trepidation once I read the cruelty quote by eliot. she made me realize how brave I'm not. I might actually reread her section once I get over how absolutely terrifying her childhood was.

meh. the first patient was my complete cognitive opposite therefore it’s been hard to want to pick up this book. now that laura’s over with, maybe peter will be……. more tolerable to read about
