Why the hell did I give this 5 stars on my first read?! The plot is pretty similar to Horde King, which I liked, but this one is confounding. This woman is infuriating! She’s abducted, hunted, violently raped, and claimed as a king’s wife. He proceeds to rape her 6 more times (each night and morning for three days). On the 4th day he gives a bit of foreplay and she starts to like it and all is forgiven. Ugh!

Damn TikTok for making me read this. I really didn’t like book 1, but everyone says the series gets better, and I’m tired of drooling over the fan art I keep seeing. So, here I go with book 2. 🙄

I’m 50% of the way through the book AND I’M LOVING THIS!!! It’s got a very natural, slow burn romance. But more than that, I’m fascinated by the story of what would happen if aliens crashed on earth and everyone witnessed it on tv and social media. Most of the aliens are captured by the gov, a few are in hiding, and one is attempting to find a cure for what their alien germs are doing to our population.

I’m only 75% done and I’m already giving this 5 stars. I love this book!! And I’m so mad that I’ll have to wait till next year for the final book. LOL

50% into it and I KNOW this is getting 5 stars. I am loving this!!! Sooooo tempted to stay up till 2am and finish, but, alas, adulting sucks.
