What a sly one you are Frieda M. Always a twist turn ride. I did laugh out loud at some of the crazy choices these unlikeable characters made and some of the insane things they said.

What a total nutcase the Gardener is… all while thinking himself such a gentleman- nothing worse than a psycho who doesn’t realize he’s a psycho! What’s this world coming to?! I enjoyed the interactions between the found family the butterflies create. I found it hard to believe Mya was so calm and seemingly untramatized and dint like the final twist- just seemed a little unnecessary and too unlikely.

Too Looooong, but overall a good story with some detestable (which I love) characters! Also a bit of a lesson for all those raising or working with children and how malleable they are.

What did I just read? I typically giggle when reading anything spicy, but this one had me pulling out my old anatomy books wondering “is that even possible”? If u like books about neglected children who grow up thinking they are making their own decisions, all while being manipulated & used, this book is 4 u! Tiernan needs therapy! Now on to find a good Freida McFadden book to cleanse the pallet!

Who doesn’t love a serial killer story- while nestled safely behind locked doors under a cozy blanket that is! A bit slow in the beginning but a creepy guy (serial killers are always guys… maybe the testosterone?) who enjoys art and dismembering bodies made it come to life until the somewhat ANTIclimactic ending.

I am all for being confident, but at times the author makes the reader feel as though some caution on the parents part means you are not confident. Not true. There are some good points in the book, but some of the ideas ruined it for me.
