Someone talk me out of closing this one out for good ... really struggling to get past the metaphors and similes in every other sentence trying to create dread when nothing is happening. Is it worth pushing on???

One story in and I can tell this is gonna be my cup of deranged and bloody tea. The kind that bites back.

So I fell asleep with my kindle on and woke up to two purchases of romance novels that I either clicked on in the throes of my sleep or that my subconscious really wanted me to read. You choose which.

As for me, closing this one out at zero percent read. Sorry Scarlett Scott, no hard feelings.

Really slow start but finally starting to move...

Needed a break after book 2. This will be the furthest I've gotten into the series to date.
