so far this book is very interesting. It starts off in a school with a bunhc of different types of kids. some slackers, and some geniuses

louis and his friends were forced to join into a bigger gang and leave their "south side san gabriel" gang. this comes with a lot of rival activity because they live in between the two biggest gangs in the city.

Luis is getting into too much trouble at school and they are putting him in a program where all he does is clean the school. His older brother Rano is doing 10 times better in school and is going the opposite way Luis is.

Luis just entered middle school and gangs are popping up everywhere and all there is is trouble. They make teachers leave the school because they are crying, throw stuff at them, and do graffiti on every blank wall they can find.

louis and his friends made a gang and are starting to make rules for it. there is only 4 of them right now but they plan on growing it.

The boys get into a bit of trouble and end up running from the police. Not long after the cops seized them and called them "Greasers". It is showing that police brutality was and still is a thing in the world we live in.

The family had moved out of central California and into a new city. His dad got a job teaching Spanish class, they have a new house,

The author is getting into his family background and how they moved to L.A. from Mexico. He has two sisters and a brother along with a sister on the way. His mom wanted to stay in Mexico but the dad knew L.A. would be full of new opportunities

Angel is getting abused by Jordan her dad. Not only physical beatings but sexual too. Angel only tells Gerald about it but when Gerald says he will tell the police, she says she will say Gerald is making it up because she is scared of Jordan and what he would do.

Aunt queen died of a heart attack. Gerald now has to live with his mom again and her boyfriend Jordan. Jordans a drunk and abusive but Gerald tries his best to stand up to him.

Geralds mom came home from jail. Gerald doesn't want to see his mom the least bit but his mom arranges to come and see him on his bday. He finds out his mom was pregnant while in jail and now Gerald was a little sister. At first he doesn't like the thought of this but then start to be friends.

Gerald had made a go cart out of his Aunts old wheel chair. He was experimenting on it down and hill and smashed into a curb almost getting ran over by a car.

The book started off talking about a 3 year old boy with a drug addict as a mother. The boy loved his mom despite her drug use. He didn't know they were"drugs" but he knew they were bad and his mom told him to stay away from them.

Andy ended up killing himself. He couldn't deal with the depression and shot himself. Everyone from his school wrote him letters and everyone is mad that he took his own life.

Andy and Keisha broke but because she cant handle Andy's sadness and misery. Andy acts all fine to everyone but he opens up to Keisha. Now that she isn't there he doesn't know what to do.

Andy is acting up in class. Failing tests and not passing in homework. He tells his counselor that he feels way better but everyone else seems to think differently.

Andy is being haunted by his friend rob. He dreams about him and feels like he should die and be with him.

Andy is very depressed still. Hes relying a lot on his girlfriend to keep him up but whenever he thinks of his friend he gets even more depressed.

The books are getting into how Andy feels after the crash and what he thinks about it. He feels responsible for the death of his friend and doesn't know what to do. He is now going to a therapist and trying to feel better.

So far this book is about a bunch of kids in highschool. They get into a bad car crash because they were drinking and it is starting to get good.

Charley is getting used to war and finds himself no longer scared to fight. He even fights his way to the front line.

The wars are getting brutal and a lot of people are dying. Charley keeps saying he knows he will die, he just doesn't know when.

I learned a boat load of new facts about Elvis that I never knew. The book goes from when Elvis was a young kid to his prime and gives a lot of facts about what he did and how he did it. I picked this book up at first just for something to read and ended up liking it more than i would have thought.

I found out that Elvis had to go to the military. Also aside from Elvis making music he also stared in multiple big movies.

I am at the part where Austin meets with Johnny formally at Americas first choice financial analysts. Austin is very confident in Johnny and is thinking of letting him invest his money.
