I cannot believe people think it's okay to treat others this way. God, I hate billionaires and power abusers.

... I hate the cheesy premise of this book. I will give it until 30% to convince me it's worth the time, but the "childre. needing to support the parents while said parents mock the most successful child" is just... I hate it. Girl, move out and be independent. Stop putting up with the comparisons, and if dad can't earn enough, he can be the one to find a new job.

I hate Natalie. 15% in I want to see her life fall apart.

Can Jeneva Rose write a "husband" as anyone but a flighty, immature, paranoid idiot??? I'd DNF because her "husbands" all behave the same, but I'm actually intrigued by the plot. So I'll persevere a little longer.

I hate Jon. He's a selfish, spoiled, entitled brat who has "fallen in love" with a second female character the day they met. Jon+ woman in front of him showing some interest= love? Ew ew ew. He suddenly is an elevated member of a society that uses soccer (which he's really good at?) to punish the lower class (which they call Grubs- so demeaning), which his mother and sister are a part of? Wtf. Likely a DNF.

This book is annoying me. I need to take a break so hopefully I can make some more progress later....
