Started this book in 2014. I asked for it as an engagement present thinking it would provide great marriage advice. The first part is too academic about marriage and the Bible. Now that I've finally gotten into the "advice " chapters it is only getting worse. The author tries to pretend he doesn't promote gender roles in a marriage, but all examples include those. Does this book get better? I am not liking that the narrator is death. It is seeming such a weird set up for the book. At this point I don't understand all the hype about it.
