I’m blasting through this because it’s so easily digestible and gripping at the same time. Reminded me of Bacigalupi in the world-building but with more sword and sorcery flair.

Jesus Christ it’s so hard reading this knowing exactly what’s happening in the „Otherrealm“. I want to fucking beat Sciona over the head with a book! And I wasn‘t even spoiled. It’s just so very very very obvious… 😫

So far so engrossing. Reads like American psycho with (and for?) pretentious college students. Loving it!

That moment when they mention Montblanc and you’re also obsessed with them…

So far so exciting and much more gripping than the first one. Although she really didn’t need Canthe 🙄 that character is an affront.
