I am reading 5 different books. People should read more, As the world moves into the 21th Century. I find that people do not read or know basic history or recent history. I find this very sad. In my Life-time so far I have most likely have read over 100 books. My first Adult Novel was "Gone With The Wind" Mom bought me a copy when I was in H.S. in 1981. My opinion is this "Books are Your Friends"

Great book

This is the first time that I have read this novel, started to read Dickens in High School. "Great Expectations" published in August of 1861. The first person voice of Pip is great so far. As I read the book I am listening to audio version being read by Simon Prebble Blackstone Audio. 2011 Mr. Prebble make the book come alive for me. The fist four chapters are great.
Tonight going to listen disk 2 of 15 disks.

I AM ON THE THIRD STORY " A CASE OF IDENITY" VERY WELL WRITTEN. THERE ARE 11 MORE TALES TO GO. SIMON VANCE IS A GREAT READER.

preface to the First Forty-Nine Stories published in 1938. It is a weightly tome but worth it. This Hardcover Edition is a beautiful tribute to a modern master of Early short Fiction.

Just started this book. Looks very good.

Reading "Pig" by Roald Dahl very creepy story

Just starting "A Sign of Four" 1894 I am listening to it being read to me on audio by Simon Vance.
