Okay so to be clear I loved each and every book of CoHo's but every book has several underlying problems -
Main male protagonist has a superiority complex, is very very toxic to his female counterpart (in this book, he literally gets down on his knees and begs her to have sex)
Woman who always gives in and doesn't stand true to the values she has set for herself
Toxic af relationships, the man is viewed as better
