abandoned - should have read it closer in time to the other parts of the trilogy. I'll try again, but not right now

Whimsical. Update of the Pride and Prejudice story. The family is incredibly poor, and have two eligible daughters.

With every good book that I read or every movie that I see, there must be a "suspension of disbelief" on my part in order to buy into the book/movie. I am abandoning this read. I am half-way through this book, and it has not captured me. I am disappointed, but there it is.
This may be a great book for someone else, but not for me.
