Perfect pick for Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. Not much has changed in the world of prejudice since the time period of this story. One step forward, two steps back.

Excellent choice for continuing education. Reading it slowly to absorb how the author outlines ways to grasp life’s constant instability.

Can’t finish this. Too frustrated. See my review of the previous book in this series. The author lost me.

This author has something to say about mankind and actually knows how to say it! I love her character development. I also appreciate that she doesn’t use boilerplates to bring new readers up to date on what goes on in this town. She’s tackling difficult personalities and letting us see how they became that way without coddling them.

Definitely keeping my interest!

Finally beginning Book 5 - A Dance With Dragons

Nearly 3/4 done and there are a couple of characters who are still alive. Don't tell me any spoilers!

Almost halfway through. George RRM hasn't killed all the characters yet.

Thankfully I bought the whole series, since I can't stop reading them. 23% through the second book.

This writer is not only hilarious, she is also so honest that I choked up more than once. What a loving (and funny!) tribute to her family.
