Alahai, 2010s Karangkraf books and the plot inconsistencies berpisah tiada. Pening na bila the first 35+ pages berapa kali it was mentioned that they're going to KOTA KINABALU. Tiba-tiba chapter 40+ nya tukar jadi KUALA LUMPUR.

The earlier chapter did mentioned sophie kinsella's undomestic goddess. And then came this chapter and it reminded me a lot of sophie's kinsella can you keep a secret (you know, the well known kapal terbang panic confession about everything scene).


It took me back heh.

apa tok, cerita hantu wholesome + heart touching all at the same time aaa (saya nangis)

Ugh okay, cerita Miss Jamilah tok actually scary and memualkan

Oh gosh, this book is giving me nostalgia that I can smell the tengik gym smell of school boys through this book hahaha

never have i ever geleng kepala literally and non stop over how awful a character has acted — their mother is so evil and frustrating, but it's such a well written character ngl, nasib saya takda darah tinggi

the family issues in this story stresses me out, tapi KIUT NA HOW THE MCS TRIED TO APPROACH ONE ANOTHER AND DO IT OUTSIDE OF THEIR COMFORT ZONE AAA

cerita tok eh, kejap buat saya ketawa, kejap nangis haha

tangan cedera warded . . . dahya bukan patah pun . . . and if nya cedera overseas kenak nya being treated dekat Malaysia for a minor injury camya siap terlantar semua . . .

kenak bah the characters in this book polah as if someone nisik baruk jak kenak bunuh bah, like even the daughter of the passing pun rileks jak sikda rupa sedih, sikda rupa risau, walaupun pembunuh masih ada di luar sinun

The slow burn in this book is just- omg- like- I've never really cried over a fictional character's punya 'perasaan cinta', but this one is just, why is it so heart wrenching-

actually excited nak baca this one sebab saya suka tengok sisi lain karya penulis bila they published their work under a different publisher hehe

275 page ... more than half of the book, baruk nampak sine hala tuju cerita tok ... baruk nya nak unveil apa benda konflik dan persoalan sebenar cerita tok ... pening palak kamek ...

They're adoptive siblings kan, tapi somehow boleh pegang-pegang usap-usap sesama sendiri dengan alasan 'berlapik'. Tapi bila the FL ni just cakap ja lagu dalam radio sedap, terus the guy sibling membebel marah-marah, suruh dengar Quran sebab lagu mengkhayalkan dan hukum haram. Dah tahu haram tapi you sendiri yang pergi buka lagu tu dulu dah kenapa? Choose your struggles boleh tak lelaki?

sigh, my relatives doktor pun sikda sibuk nak gatekeep ini itu bila mereka sendiri / bini mereka pregnant, also why are they making a big deal over lagsana and spaghetti, a doctor should know it's a healthy meal kot.

annoying abis bah rolaki dalam tok, dah lah loser, cakap pasal agama, tapi rilek jak merendahkan isteri depan orang lain

it's been so long since i giggles and all when reading romance (i guess serious mature adult banter that's a bit goofy from other people perspective is my thing hh)
