Sorry book you've been pushed back despite being promising. I have library books again. Hopefully I'll read them.

So I've gone back to daydreaming and listening to the same song on repeat....Dang it.

It meanders. My focus this year is very bad thus far.

I don't know if I will bother finishing this story. It's not gripping me.

I have my own copy of this book now which I must return to soon, but I keep adding new books to my currently reading 📚. My little brother brought me this book, although he initially thought it strange I wanted it since I previously had the library copy, but I'm a distracted reader, and sometimes I shelve a book away to read later, or unintentionally pause my reading, regardless of how good it is.

I'm enjoying it so far, but I've been pulled back into the world of comics, so it's on hold for the moment, but I must return to it soon. I got 10 books for Christmas, so I've pushed back my library book reservations to tackle the 10 books, plus I have like at least 15 others I own that I still need to read.

I'm not sure what to think now....╮(╯_╰)╭

I'm quite territorial about my home, so I'd have bloody thrown Josie out by now (maybe never let her stay pass the first night sighting the danger of her husband disturbing the kids). After her dissing Alix's husband, looking through her bins, and stealing her makeup, gosh golly, she should have been out ages ago. Maybe I'm just not that nice when it comes to the sanctity of one's own home.

Well I took too long again and now I'm reading the digital version, since I had to take the library book back, because it had been reserved by someone else.

If someone insulted my husband like that I'd be bloody mad. Even if his behavior was unsatisfactory, it wouldn't mean I'd allow disrespect by anyone else towards him. Mind you I don't have a husband.

I'm enjoying the story so far.

My library only had the large print copy, and initially it was a little disorienting to read such large text, but I'm already invested now. The large print has like 477 pages or something. (；д；)

I don't know if I can bring myself to finish this story. I already know the tragic ending, but actually listening to it, is another thing... (。•́︿•̀。)

Golly, little kids and imaginary friends give me the heebie jeebies ⊙﹏⊙∥ .
Certain parts so far are really good, and other parts feel like they're rushed, or lacking enough detail to really instill the right feelings of unease I think they ought.

Finally I've made a little progress. I was helping build a shed, but it's finished now. I've finally found a feel for the flow of the story.
Although I'll have to return my library book soon, since someone has a reservation on it. Then I'll need to change to the ebook.

I haven't been reading very much at all lately. For good reason, but I do feel a little guilty. Silly me. Now I sorta want to read another, maybe I should try reading 2 books at a time. If I can watch a thriller series n read a book series at the same time, why not 2 books at once? ╰(*´︶`*)╯

Just finished meeting Violet, she went from confident night owl workaholic to jittery ghost conspirator. Imagine living somewhere for years, then all of a sudden one day, seeing all the ghosts that have been there all along, suddenly visible.

I'm not sure how to feel about the ending, it was a bit cookie-cutter, a bit too short. I wanted the media storm, the detectives' shock, the PKR staff chatter. Bit too neat n tidy...hmm.

So here's a familiar trope, cliche, formula or whatever it is- the rich kid n poor kid being friends, one dotted on, with overbearing parents, usually the rich kid (or they're spoilt but ignored) then the neglected, left to run amok poor kid, ones a terror but with the potential to be good then the other, not so much...you guess which it is, but I swear the formula is often the same.
