Got it! Excited to have this book in my paws. I'm very happy for Tyler Mahan Coe that this book has come to fruition.

Seems like a logical choice to follow the fantastic baseball world of _Shoeless Joe_. The audio has been keeping me company on recent long drives and a couple of nights of overtired wakefulness. I don't love it the way I did the first time I read it, but I am enjoying it.

Intriguing, but I paused it in favor of more soothing reading during a tough period. The stories of illness and injury may wear on the sensitive turtle lovers among us.

Dude, I have *got* to finish this book.

My turn came up for the library audiobook.

Not optimistic. It's a book club choice, so I'm trying. But I've had enough WWII European-theater espionage historical fiction to last me through the rest of my 40s.

LOVING this. Loving every word.

My progress with this one is extremely slow. It's a rich book on a complex topic. It's teaching me a great deal, but it's hardly pleasure reading, so I need to be in the right frame of mind to keep going.

Shelving temporarily. The library loan period ended during my mother's hospitalization. Will return to it when some brain power returns.
