Nice fable. Valuable lesson, though hard to apply sometimes.

First of this series I read. I like it. I think I'll go on to the next one.

A short story about New Year and how life changes. I can't decide if the human traits observable in primary and secondary characters made them less or more cliché. But I liked that, it made it interesting.
Only thing I didn't enjoy was that it was a little over the top when it came to details.

Short but lovely.

Confusing at times, painfully true at others. This books gave me a whole new perspective on Stevenson's ideas. I feel like I need to read it in English, though. It might help. This translation was definitely not good.

Just began this series, and it is very likely I will looke up next volumes. I am glad I ran into this author. I have a copy of Shiloh, hope to get at it soon.

The review on the back of the book is so right "This is not the sequel you expected, but it is the sequel you needed."
From page one, I did not quite like the way things were going with Lou after Will left. Despite that, I could not put down this book. I wanted to know more. I could picture almost every scene. In the end, this book does leave you with a feeling of healing, hope and recovery after a great loss.

I did not expect to like these stories so much. Fantasy is not my thing. But these stories are lovely, some of them very touching, such as "The unicorns of Kabustan". "The ugly unicorn" was my favorite.Oh, and I got to learn a few interesting facts about unicorns ;)
