Well the body count is rising fast and the DB plot is running true to form. Reasonably enjoyable and an easy read so far.

Just starting to get in to the plot. The unbreakable code has made its appearance and I'm working out who the baddie on the inside will turn out to be.

Picked up reading this to my son and did two chapters. He then went on and finished without me :( I shall be starting from the beginning shortly...

Not usually my genre but I am finding this quite readable. Best quote so far... "he fancied himself to be avuncular, though nobody else did", pp12.

Aha! The plot thickens...

The plot is settling in now and the players are nearly all in place. The pseudoscience is slightly annoying as are the computing references, probably so because I'm interested in both fields. Enjoyable enough that I want to continue reading though.

Not bad but follows the usual formula. Use of (British) English idiom is wrong, as ever. Does DB know any British people?

Abandoned... The ghost writing became too obvious.

Considering this is a seminal SF work it's hight time I read it!
