Attempt number 2 trying to read this!! Wish me luck 🤞🏽

I tried to listen to this audiobook but an hour in it’s just a lot of stammering, odd gasping, and odd pronunciations of the word curtain. Imma head out.

Dnf’d at 22% I just did not connect with the MC or the love interest.

Scratch that. She’s dumb. I’m gonna try not to Dnf, but the urge is strong 🫣

Saxony has zero common sense. It’s kind of hard to read her POV after being with Taurga.

Spoilery update. Just got to the part where Vera hangs herself again in Lilys body…. Super annoyed that Anora ran from Lily. She knew what Vera was going to do … she would’ve been better off calling out for help?? How did she thinks she was going to find Thane in time? And why does she trust Thane??? And why is Shy taking so long to talk to her about what she is?? Like ????

This book is oddly entertaining… like a train wreck in slow motion you can’t look away from. I’m listening to the audiobook so please excuse any misspellings.

MC Petra is very naive. It’s almost ignorable bc her narrative is so easy to follow, kudos to the author, but her interactions with other people are kind of frustrating when she writes off things so easily. Like with her roommate and her supervisors.

This was so cute! I was a little skeptical with the amount of “cursing” that goes on 😩😂 but I was very much interested in the paren trap/ Freaky Friday aspect it had going for it!!

The bomb drop that the mom had made Siri believe her older sister was an imaginary friend???? Took it to a whole knew level !!

So glad I read it! Bc I ended up enjoying it!!!

Wait this book is so much cuter than I expected!! Dylan and Jonah are such good characters!! They have me laugh crying and cooing at their antics!! I’m already eyeing Amanda Woody’s next series !!

A nice ending though it seemed drawn out and rushed at the same time. Somehow it feels like it could’ve been 3 books, but the way it was rushed made me want it to be over quickly by the end idk. All in all a really good book!!

I got bored. Darn it. I did!! Maybe I just enjoyed the angst of her getting the guys. But now that she has them, except Knox which whatever lol, I’m bored 😭 I’m going to have to let this one go!!

Wait wait wait?! Where has this been!! I’m loving this story line!!! I hate to beat a dead horse but I’m so sick of hearing “fans of Harry Potter will enjoy” and then the book having none of things HP had. This is, so far, has surpassed all of that! Its own beast if you will!! But the similarities are there in the best way! I can’t wait to read the rest of this!!!

This was good ! Saw a review saying it wasn’t , but I wholeheartedly disagree! I love Nette and getting to read her pov is amazing!!

I wasn’t 100% sold on this book in the beginning! It had a good premise and I’m always down for magical schools.

But the lengthy tone it took just to explain it nearly made me dnf. Not to mention the MCs over prickly attitude. It’s growing on me though .. I think

I do not like the implication that Bran saw the potential in Mercy to be his mate. I’ve read the Mercy Thompson series, and the relationship on Brans end always felt fatherly and protective even when he flew to Europe to hep get her back. Why sully that in 3 careless sentences.

I am so annoyed with Sela or howeever you spell her name (audiobook reader!) how do they take everything to the extreme! You don’t know who you’re other 2 rapists are so that doesn’t automatically discredit JT just bc his DNS wasn’t in your hair and even that could be a lie bc someone could’ve paid off the detective no matter how nice he seems .. ugh rant over 🤣
