Kassel is 40% done with Red, White & Royal Blue
This is actually quite a royal slog for me. I am curious to read how the end turns out (instead of Googling), but I’ve been trying to read this since the beginning of the year and it’s been extremely difficult to keep my attention. I think Alexis Hall has a book with a similar premise, so it’ll be interesting to contrast and compare the writing, plot, and pacing. Writing in this book is fine tho.

Informative but a slow read for me. Especially on the Kindle app.

Kassel is 50% done with The Divine Pause: An invitation to reflect, recenter and reconnect with your inner wisdom in a noisy world
I’m focusing on one specific affirmation this book for this year. It’s helped me reframe my life and focus on bettering myself as a creation of the Divine. I really love this book.

Kassel is finished with The Lions of Little Rock by Kristin Levine(2014-05-14)
I love this book and it feels so applicable to what’s happening today. Before this year, civil rights movements felt like history. This book feels more alive and relevant than ever. I’m glad I picked it up.

Need to keep reading. It’s been so long since I’ve read this, it’s all new again.

I hate to say it but as an editor, I find this dreadfully boring. I'm only powering as much as I can through it for book club.
