Done with ( City of glass) and I'm impressed! I don't care if some readers found it lacking meaning or pretentious, what I found here was pure mind joy, a provoking mind challenge and I loved it! I'll seek the rest of his work right afterwards. The problem with such difficult books that the translation could destroy its beauty thus misleading the reader.

Holy horseshoes! This book hooked me and I wish it really never ends, if only I could enter it like Bastian!! The best thing about it that not only it's an awesome page turner, but it is full of life teachings and valuable lessons. It got me on my favorite reading position as a little kid, laying on my stomach, feet swinging up in the air.

I believe chapter 13 is so far the most brilliant thing I've ever read regarding this genre of books. This man is absolutely crazy genius! Can't wait to finish it though I'd like to keep having this thrill.

Mae (The circle ), Amy ( Gone girl )..I though was the most hated characters I met but I believe they both have no chance with Eva!! I wish I could choke her with the book!

excellent writing, you'll find yourself faraway in Orient..isolated yet modern day portrayed. .not your typical sort of mystery, reminds me of classical more sophisticated books rather than current hip thrillers. loving it so far

this book is exhausting me and this is coming from someone who read midnight's children in like two days. The writing style is pretentious to the verge of confusion as he cares more of beautifying rather than meaning.

enchanting and magical. I bet before going through even 40 pages you'd be listening to Lagrima by Francisco Tarrega.

fast paced right from the first page, so does the heartache. it's that sort of book that's a hard slap on the face, a milestone that marks your life before and after..you'll question your life choices and relations with those supposed to be close to you yet couldn't be further away..a must read book for every mother to reconsider priorities

I miss him everyday. More than anyone, I think. He's the big hole in my life, in the middle of my soul. Or maybe he was just the beginning of it. I don't know. All I know is, one minute I'm ticking along fine and life is sweet and I want for nothing, and the next I can't wait to get away, I'm all over the place, slipping and sliding again.

I have to accept it, there's no point trying to push it away. I'm going to feel terrible all day, it's going to come in waves - stronger then weaker then stronger again- that twist in the pit of my stomach, the anguish of shame, the heat coming to my face, my eyes squeezed tight as though I could make it all disappear.

I close my eyes and let the darkness grow and spread until it morphs from a feeling of sadness into something worse: a memory, a flashback. I didn't just ask him to call me back. I remember now, I was crying. I told him that I still loved him, that I always would. Please, please, I need to talk to you. I miss you. No no no no no no no.

(I am not the girl I used to be.It's as if people can see the damage written all over me, can see it in my face, the way I hold myself, the way I move.)

I can't bear to look at it. Well, I can, I do, I want to, I don't want to, I try not to. Everyday I tell myself not to look, and everyday I look. I can't help myself, even though there is nothing I want to see there, even though anything I do see will hurt me.

I can't help it, I catch sight of these discarded scraps, a dirty T-shirt or a lonesome shoe, and all I can think of is the other shoe and the feet that fitted into them. ( The girl on the train - Paula Hawkins)

impossible; for how many people did you know that refracted your own light to you? how rarely did other people's faces take of you and throw back to you your own expression, your own innermost trembling thought?

I don't know that we are actually human at this point, those of us who are like most of us, who grew up with TV and movies and now the Internet. If we are betrayed, we know the words to say; when a loved one dies, we know the words to say. If we want to play the stud or the smart ass or the fool, we know the words to say. We are all working from the same dog eared script. ( gone girl)
