I just finished Wild Harvest and gave it 5 stars. A no nonsense look at life on the moors. I imagine that Hope Bourne is a pistol to talk to. Someone of firm opinions and convictions. This is a fun peek into her world for city dwellers and those who will never be able to visit her moors. While it romanticizes living off the land and having no obligation to career, it doesn't sugar coat it either.

I wanted it to be more lyrical. I just never found my stride in his narrative.
