I am starting this series all over again, since I didn't finish it. RL caught up, and I dropped out midway through book 2. BTW, who doesn't love a healthy dose of Jorg's snark? My anti-hero.

I have risen out of the ashes of my book slump. Gotta get my act together and finish this book. But it's boring me out. I don't know why.

Jorg has really come a long way. I'm glad he hasn't let the darkness consume him completely.

I feel like I'm reading a mediocre, teenage version of Game of Thrones. I mean there is a character named Theon for crying out loud. And I freaking hate Theon Greyjoy. Just glad Theon Ranus is far more appealing in looks and attitude. There's not much character development. Only Magnus and Cleo are fleshed out. Hopefully, others will follow suit.

Just decided to pick it up after all this years...
Simple writing, interesting plot, thrilling characters (too thrilling as youngsters)...
Let's see how it goes from here...
