it’s so crazy to me how many people actually go into a candidate’s team while preparing to run. also it’s interesting to note how healthy mrs. clinton was trying to keep her and her team while they were traveling!

being a young gay boy watching the most nasty man be elected president never sat right with me. i’m so happy to begin this book and wonder what happened and what would’ve happened had mrs. clinton won the 2016 election.

WHEW this book is a ride. i’m glad we have more details about the 50th games arena but POOR AMPERT MY BABY NOOOOOO

okay so this story is finally picking up steam and i kinda love it!!! it’s giving very first novel vibes and i kinda feel myself getting drawn fully in :)

what an “interesting” read this is so far… we’ll see how the rest of the book is!

the book tosses back and forth between being ya gay rom-com and then scary thriller haunted house novel and idk, i just wish it leaned more to one over the other because the fluffy parts where cam and hugo get lovey dovey are kinda annoying and it throws off the vibe i have in my head

the roller coaster that is the beginning of hugo and cameron’s relationship is sooo cute, but i’m LOVING the map of this house as the gang explores everything

the way that Winters describes the physical way the Crimson House affects people is so crazy, i fucking love it

ooooh this is playing out JUST like an indiana jones movie and im LIVING for it, but fuck leo for trusting the bad people >:(
