I’m not really vibing with this book so far. Joan is not very fun, she’s a little judgmental, & has no personality outside of being good at math. The vibe among the astronauts doesn’t seem believable to me. no way those mil pilots are loudly cheering for one another when they pop up out of the water after completing a training challenge. Like space is being explained at me a lot - do the characters get better

No idea whats going on in this book but it’s been a ride so far

Audiobook narrator is one of the best I’ve ever heard

Honestly really falling flat on any political intrigue or like political awareness

So far it’s been hard to put down. The world and technology is really cool.

Going to stop reading now. Honestly this book was clearly written by two dudes who only see women as sexy npcs. I really tried to stick it out but its clear this one cannot redeem itself. I'm bummed bc I was really looking forward to this one
