I am currently marching my way through the Torah in my 105 day read of the Bible. Today I just finished Exodus, and my main take away is that it’s a shame that there is no diagram provided in the back of the Tent of Meetings. Chapters 25-40 are all about the building of the Tent of Meeting and there is no diagram. I have been enjoying the RNJB translation readable and liturgically eloquent.

Half way through the first arc A Nation Under Our Feet. So far really enjoying it. Who would have guessed that the Ta-Nehisi Coates and friends era of Black Panther would be Political( cough couch sarcasm).

Slow set and build for the horror to come. Fears about losing your job, or your failing marriage will be halted when Cujo comes.

Started reading this book last night and so far it’s good but I’m also biased a love the film.

Currently loving Master Loden Greatstorm, he so far is my favorite Jedi in this mew era.

A murder has happened on a train, while the train is stranded due to a blizzard in Yugoslavia.

The ten are dropping like flies and the book is so hard to put down.

Side note this book made me finally bite the bullet and order books by the English mystics: Julian of Norwich, Margery Kempe, and the Cloud of Unknowing. All of which is on my 2021 TBR list.

I started this book now as a type of Christmas meditation on the Cosmic Christ. So far this book seems to be a great intro in the the Christian mystic tradition, but not as deep as the works of St. Athanasius, or St. Julian of Norwich. Yet none the less this book has helped me pause my busy life and see that God is in everything and everyone.

I know I’ve been digesting this book slowly, but honestly anything but would be a disservice. I plan on finishing this book before Christmas what a great read this far.

So I have began the undertaking of reading Marx and Engels before bed. Honestly what is better light reading. In all seriousness though one cannot wrestle with modern western philosophy without having a grounding in Marxist philosophy. Last night I read the preface and introduction by Robert Tucker which are both excellent. Tonight all the reading was about the inverse of Hegelian philosophy. Really this is page 67.

Slasher part has slowly begun... I have spent a little over a month of this year in Indiana and all I can say is that cornfields are creepy. So far this book has a real 2016 vibe.

Finally have time to read for fun. So far this book is setting up the social commentary which seems to talk about Trump in a not so subtle way. MKSGA. Anyways I think the slasher bit is coming up soon...
