Didn’t get off to a good start with this book, found it interesting but not engaging, but the most recent chapter I read has really piqued my interest.

Had a quick read before bed, interesting set up.

Read ‘Silence of the Sheep’. I like the intertwining of the stories, lots of mystery which I imagine won’t be cleared up which I don’t mind too much. Very curious as to what more we’ll learn about this ‘Institute’.

Read ‘Cursed Sheep’. Interesting story, spooky moments. I like the different direction Bora Chung has gone with this book, having all the stories centre around a singular institute, which is shaping up to be a really cool and mysterious setting, when previously her stories tended to be very standalone.

Read ‘Handkerchief’, another spooky one. I like the direction this book is taking.

Finally started this. Read ‘You Can’t Come in Here’. It gave me the heebie-jeebies, good start for a collection of ghost stories.

New phone reset my Apple Books settings! My poor eyes struggle with white writing over black.

Lots of interesting developments and concepts.

This book actually gave me a bit of a fright just now! First book to do that since I read Cujo as a kid.

Very interesting so far, lots of mystery and cool ideas.

Planned to read this in one go but needed something to read after The Vampire Lestat so read a bit before bed. Adds some cool backstory to the episode so far, really cannot tell what demographic this is meant for.

Very interesting developments and lore drops.

Coming to the conclusion of this book, exciting! Glad there’s another in the series to keep me satiated.
