I keep getting confused. As an example- Alo mentions the cat dragon playing or looking at some kind of butterly (off handedly) then 4 pages later in the middle of something else she says “I remember that butterfly” (or something like that) and panics.
I had no idea what was going on- had to read all the way back to see that comment.

I don’t know what I am doing.. why am I reading this book about some flip floppy whiney self righteous teens? I do not like any of them.

What the hell am i doing reading this? God lord its not good.

I was not expecting the way the story is going to be the way the story is going

Struggled with pacing, also the situation unfolding is a bit bizarre.

What’s going on in this book. Starter well and I feel like it’s just gone so random and weird and well.. stupid.

Kind of good..

I gave this book back, I just couldn’t be bothered with it.

Is anything going to happen really? This book is literally doing my head in.
Over describing to the max and just urgggggggh enough .
Every sentence is an over sentence at this point.

Confused by Stella’s behaviour now - how as a reader am I meant to be interpreting this ?

Hmmm not sure what I’m meant to be thinking or feeling about this whole Tara train thing .. the conversation with Jason leading up to it was also the creepiest thing I think I’ve ever heard so I’m just baffled.
Also I have never taken to Dawn oporter so have no idea how I have ended up reading this ...

Am going to remove this book from my reading list as the idea of starting to read it again makes me unhappy. Maybe I’ll try again I few years

Well Maude is definitely the story of repugnant entitlement.

Plot twist .. but in all seriousness I am finding this book slow .. a bit repetitive.. differing POVs per chapter Is more my lark .. not this repeat and trying to remember poop I’m wading through

Oh good god , this dog skin coat (and the whole dog scam) is the most repulsive thing I’ve read in so long - I actually felt sick thinking about it on the way to work. Hope it doesn’t come up again... I’m generally not squeamish but urgh the idea .. the smell .. the poor dogs.

Enjoying this book but really wish the narrative was more descriptive

Jimmy is such an ott villain, I can almost imagine him twiddling his moustache and Dick dastardlying about the court yard

God this book would be so much shorter and better if Fliss just told Lotte that Richard turned up the house for her.

I open my mouth and stare incredulously at this book unwilling to believe the situation or characters. It’s incredulous. I suspect that the authors a lover use of the word incredulous is in fact a Freudian slip.

Nope, I refuse to believe these are meant to be intelligent human adults. I can’t do it and I won’t.

And two seconds ago she had no idea who Ben was ... now she’s decided she loves him and has always loved him - urgh man crazy woman child.

I think I’ve gone too far down the so called “chic lit” genre with this one ... I had thought I was pushing my luck with Big little lies .. but I loved that book. This one so far ... oh boy ... away with the fairies, marriage obsessed 30 old year as a main - no thank you . But I will persevere- for a few more chapters anyway, maybe I’ll be surprised.

Frustrating . Why is meg not communicating with anyone - I don’t understand why she is hiding her bad feelings. These books have turned so slow ..
