I DNF’ed this awhile back but let’s give it another shot.

DNF’ing at 30%. I just can’t get into it. And it’s annoying how she keeps on referring to what’s going to be explained in future chapters.

So, I started this book probably close to 10 years ago and then I stopped reading midway for some reason (not that I didn’t like it though). Anyways, here I am finally reading this and checking it off my physical tbr. Look at me knocking out my physical tbr left and right already this year!

The slow burn of this is killing me. Just fuck already, jesus. Also, the fact that he loves her innocence is light weight weird af.

"She's shy. She's innocent."

Big yikes. I hate the two main characters already. We got one pretentious douche bag and a rambling "unique/quirky" girl who is just trying too hard to be unique/quirky.

Bring on the trainwreck. I'm ready.

DNF'ing this lame, boring ass book. Byeeeee.

I decided that I’m okay never picking this up again so I’m DNF’ing at 20%.

After 9% of this waste of my time, I’m DNF’ing. I can’t do it.

DNF @ 36% - meh, I gave it a shot. The characters continued to be annoying and I didn’t like any of them enough to get invested in their story. We thought B&H was bad but at least I was able to finish it. 😂

This is a slooooooow burn. And I don’t buy the chemistry between the two main characters. 🤷🏼‍♀️
