The first book was very good. This second book is draagggiiinnngggg. A lot relationship feelings and not in a good way.

The rhythm of the writing style is interesting. It feels junior or first writing assignment.

the narrator breathes really loudly

There are a lot of things I like about this book but the banter between the two can be a little weird.

Ok.... totally my fault. I was distracted by the pretty cover and good reviews and some how missed this is a ghost story. One of my least favorite type of books. :/

The writing seems good and the MC seems ok. I'm going to try to keep going with it.

The one thing that really bothers me is the House. Too similar to the house/inn in Ilona Andrews Innkeepers series.

The writing was better in the beginning. Now is seems stilted & amateurish

I hope this turns out that friends are really foes.
