In the beginning Kylie Sanderson's life was basically going into a downfall. Her mom goes one guy after another, prefers to look "fly" instead of paying the rent and doesn't act like a parent at all. This sends Kylie running away. While Kylie was out on the streets all by herself she met really nice people willing to give her food, wash her up and is willing to give her a job for money.

At first I thought this book would be boring like most of the books in the library, but now that I'm reading it it's actually turning out to be interesting. It's a story that MOST teenagers can relate to.
