I just finished The Lost Letters of Aisling: A Novel and gave it 5 stars.

I just finished The Village Healer's Book of Cures and gave it 3 stars.

I just finished The Girls in the Attic and gave it 4 stars.

Very intense.

Very interesting but hard to read

It drives me crazy to read about wives who do whatever their husbands say just because that's the "role" of a wife. It's a good story so far but there is a lot of repeating - almost as if 2 people are working on the story, I can't explain it beyond that - just a feeling it gives me.

I am very frustrated at this point with Hope. She truly makes women look bad. The only reason I will finish this book is to make sure she opens her eyes and stands up for herself.
