I am not sure where this is going, but right now it seems like all the conflict is going to be political bullshit/nonsense, and I feel like there's enough of that in real life. I mean, there's a volcano people.

This book is kind of exhaustingly politically correct. Like it doesn't waste a single opportunity to have a little rant. And I say this as a liberal person who cares about the rights of others... Can I just read a nice romance novel about witches in fall in connecticut? Do I have to read continual comments about something unfair and unjust and exploitative and I'm tired, so tired of it every 10 pages? I get it
