A must read! Omg! I am Overwhelmed by the complexity & complicity of the Sackler family & various pharma entities they built around the globe. Calling the name of helping people as they got them addicted to OxyContin, then slathered their name on every institution imaginable despicable. Thank you for this wonderful novel.

Really good…Interment camps in 1942. Germans, Italians, Japanese in the deep heat of TX. A little too close to home right now. If only these people in today’s internment camps right here, right now…were treated as well. It’s a sad state of affairs.

I just started & I’m in. The authors use of language caused me to close my eyes and literally see the characters, habitat & storyline that feels…almost palpable. His protagonists discovery of literature & reference to famous titles pulls the reader in. From the beginning he notes Beowulf, Don Quixote, Moby Dick. Titles that have drawn readers for century’s. Can’t wait for resume tomorrow.
