the worst Minato Kanae’s book I’ve read so far.

I still love the way Kanae Minato writes. But why are the characters obsessed with death that much tho.

finished chapter 15. so wattpad-esque. no character development, no other characters depth. the main character is bland (don’t care about her, she is soooo boring). fifteen chapters and it ALL only about Olive and Adam, Olive and Adam back to back. BORING. two stars so far, if only I could skip scenes and still understand the book like when you watch a movie. so far suck.

the feeling I have when I read this book compared to when I watched Grave of Fireflies. Sad, hopeless, scary, and dark.

100+ pages in, I will never be the same person anymore. That broke my heart to pieces.
